Shaker Touch 2 service manual
TM - technical maintenance. It is produced every six months and includes:
- Cleaning and purging of the machine body and the back wall with dust boards;
- Revision or replacement of mixer units;
- Revision or replacement of hydraulic system hoses;
- Revision or replacement of the concentrate preparation system;
- Cleaning and maintenance of the manipulator module and the beverage dispenser window curtain;
- Cleaning and flushing of the standard cooler.
SO - service maintenance. Maintenance should be carried out depending on the intensity of operation of the machine, but at least 2 times a week. The maintenance process includes:
- Replenishment of leftover powders, syrups, cups and water;
- Disassembly and cleaning of mixers and dust covers;
- Cleaning of the machine's interior;
- Flushing of hoses and syrup pumps;
- Emptying and cleaning the waste tray;
- Cleaning the water hose (when using this type of connection);
- Filter replacement when using a water connection (at least once every six months).
- Checking the operability of the glass dispenser unit, manipulator, and glass sensor.
To clean the machine body (inside and outside), use wipes, sponges, detergents and disinfectants. It is forbidden to use highly active chemicals or pure alcohol to treat nodes or surfaces! It is forbidden to wash plastic parts with boiling water!
Assembly/disassembly of mixers
The mixer machine consists of three parts – funnel (1), impeller (2) and base (3).
To wash the parts, use hot water (not boiling water) and detergents. Dry the parts before installing them in place. Before assembling the mixer, wipe the motor shaft and the non-removable part. IMPORTANT! When installing the impeller, it is necessary to combine the risk on it with the groove on the motor shaft.!
Video of disassembly/assembly of mixers:
Installing dust covers for mixers
Dust covers are used to reduce the contamination of the machine during operation. To install them, remove the guide rails of the powder containers.
Remove and rinse with hot water the hoses coming from the mixers, as well as the filling fittings. Initially, the hoses are transparent, but they may change color during operation due to the settling of small particles. To clean the hoses, use a thin brush or order spare parts set.
Cleaning of hoses and syrup pumps
The syrup lines are washed without disassembly. Disconnect the connector from the syrup box and prepare a container with hot water. Lower the hose with the connector into a container with water, use the PUMP SYRUP buttons on the machine panel to flush the hoses until they are completely cleaned.
Wipe the active area of the cup sensor with a damp cloth.
REMEMBER: the machine is designed to work with food products that have an expiration date and storage conditions. Maintain a high sanitary and hygienic level. Do not allow odors and third-party impurities to appear in drinks. Poor-quality and untimely maintenance of the vending machine can harm the health of customers!
Cups loading
Before loading the glasses into the receiver tube, it is necessary to make sure that the parameters of the glasses correspond to those regulated by the Shaker company:
- Material: paper (the use of plastic cups is prohibited);
- Dimensions: diameter no more than 90 mm, height no more than 110 mm, volume up to 400 ml;
The manufacturer does not guarantee the high-quality operation of the cup dispensing unit when using cups that do not meet the above requirements.
When loading the stack into the receiving tube, make sure that the cups are free of defects. The distance between the cups in the stack should be the same, from 4.3 mm to 8 mm. It is forbidden to load used, as well as crumpled and deformed cups into the tube.
You should carefully load the cups into the tube, holding the falling stack with your hand from below, through the cleaver hole. Load the stack not entirely, but by dividing it into 2-3 parts. It is forbidden to tamper the cups when loading them.
Replenishment of remains in the service menu
On the first tab of the service menu there are indicator columns for the remaining products loaded into the machine. After filling the containers and the syrup module, it is necessary to set the residue values as much as the products were loaded. To do this, click on the corresponding column and slide it up.
When preparing a drink, the program subtracts the dosage of the product from the value of the residues. When there are less than 5 cocktails left (5 large dosages of the drink), this drink will be hidden from the selection menu.
Service functions
Washing the mixers
Each mixer is assigned a corresponding button in the service menu (1-4 buttons). This function can be used both manually and automatically after each cooking session. ATTENTION! The use of manual or automatic washing of mixers does not remove the requirements for complete disassembly and cleaning of mixer components during maintenance.
Washing the mixers after cooking and by timer
In the service menu (Configurator tab, Service Menu section), options for washing after cooking and two automatic washing timers are available.
Post-cooking flushing is enabled after serving the drink to the customer. The washing time is regulated by the «washing time per sec» field. To activate the option, click on the option selector and click the «Write» button.
The timer washer flushes all the mixers of the machine at the specified time. The washing time is regulated by the «washing time per sec» field. To activate the option, click on the option selector and click the «Write» button.
Cup dispencing test
The operability check and adjustment of the cup dispensing unit (cleaver) and the cup sensor are carried out in the following cases:
- When the machine is turned on for the first time;
- When filling the tube again, when there are less than 2 glasses left in it;
- When changing the supplier / batch of cups.
To perform the dispensing test, make sure that there are cups in the receiver tube. Make sure that the bottom cup in the stack is positioned strictly vertically, without skewing. If necessary, adjust the stack by slightly lifting it by the bottom cups and then lowering it.
On the «Washing» tab, click the «Cup Test» button.
After pressing the button, the dispenser will separate one cup from the stack and dump it into the cup separator of the machine manipulator. You need to make sure that the cup falls smoothly, without distortion. The check is considered completed with 10 successful issues. ATTENTION! The cup dispensing test will not work if the cup sensor is disabled.
Cup dispencer module fitting
You will need a screwdriver to adjust the cleaver. Load at least 20 cups into the receiving tube. There is an adjustment flag on the cleaver block.
Use a screwdriver to loosen the mounting bolt located at the bottom of the flag.
Push the stack of cups up and hold it up by sliding the flag to the right. Make sure that the cups is fixed and pull it down so that the edge of the cups rests on the top of the guide rollers.
Tighten the screw of the adjustment flag with a screwdriver and perform several cups dispensing tests. During the test, it is necessary to make sure that the cups falls smoothly during delivery, without distortion. Re-adjust if necessary.
Cup sensor fitting
The calibration of the cup sensor must be performed directly at the installation site by trained personnel. The sensitivity of the sensor depends on the ambient temperature, so any sensor adjustment must be carried out under stable temperature conditions (a critical condition for cold seasons).
ATTENTION! Due to the special features of the cup sensor, it is not recommended to use red and black cups.
You will need a small screwdriver to adjust the cup sensor. Place the cup for which the batch will be adjusted in the fork of the cup trap. The cup should be positioned smoothly, without distortion. The sensor is adjusted by turning the screw next to the cable.
Use a screwdriver to turn the screw clockwise until the diode on the sensor starts to burn steadily without interruptions and flickers. If the cups used have inscriptions and/or drawings, it is necessary to make sure that the sensor is correctly triggered on any surface of the cup. ATTENTION! Do not place the machine in a place where direct sunlight may reach the sensor lens. The principle of operation of the sensor is based on the reflection of the signal and when the reading area is illuminated, its stable operation is not guaranteed.
